Carol & Eve
F O R E W O R D
When we were little girls, my little sister Eve and I often went for a treasure hunt spree; though what we called “treasure” might serve as a completely different meaning to us.
You see, my sister (having a creative blood and a good eye for fashion since a young age), would come home with unique bits and pieces of accessories that only God (and her) knows where to find them, and for me, my “treasure hunt” includes rummaging through arrays of books, trying to find something worth reading, sometimes a Jane Austen classic, but most of the time it will be Jane Green, Candace Bushnell, and Cecilia Aherns.
As different as we might be, we are lucky enough to have what most sisters in this world don’t (and wish they had): a sisterly bonding. Eve with her shopping addiction and colour coordinate closet, and me, with stacks of magazines and not-so-tidy closet.
As part of our New Year resolution for 2010, we decided to start this blog, as a way to express our passion over travel, culture, fashion, and culinary. And who knows, by writing this blog, we might learn a thing or two about life, and perhaps we might find some hidden treasures along the way...
